Paul uses an Old Testament example of how God has always related to his people, by faith, in chapter four of Romans. Rev. Matt Miller (Romans 2:1-16) I don’t know about you but sometimes I have an itchy trigger finger, meaning, I am quick to respond even before I know all the information. Rev. Matt Miller (Romans 1:1-7) Paul’s letter to the Romans is one of the most significant letters ever written. In it Paul shares with them the heart of the most important message ever shared, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can easily think this letter is a theological tome and miss the intimacy with which Paul writes to a church existing in the shadow of a mighty pagan empire. This year we’ll see Paul’s heart for God and his love for the Church, there in Rome and for all time.
