God’s people thought Jesus was going to be King of Israel and lead them to victory over their enemies but it didn’t happen. Unfortunately, life is full of unmet expectations, and we’ve certainly experienced that in this season. When we remember the rest of the story, we know their expectations and ours weren’t great enough.
