“That’s Not Fair”

(Matthew 20:1-16) This week, guest preacher, Dr Bryan Chapell, shares from one of Jesus’ parables. In his sermon, we see God’s grace at work for those who’ve been on the journey with God for a long time and for those who have just understood the Gospel. He calls us to move from ‘standing idly’ to serving God in light of what he’s done.

EASTER “Of First Importance”

The more you think about what is important you also realize you spend a lot of time thinking about and engaging in matters that aren’t all that important. Paul shares with the Corinthians what is a matter of First Importance, The Gospel, and how that should affect how we live.

PALM SUNDAY “A House of Prayer”

Rev. Matt Miller (Matthew 21:12-17) After Jesus Triumphal Entry, he does something no one expects. Storming into the temple he turns over the tables and accuses the people of thwarting the faithful’s worship of God. Why is he so upset and what does it have to do with me today?

ROMANS: Live by Faith “Build Up”

Rev. Matt Miller (Romans 15:1-13) First, we wake up. Then we grow up. Now, Paul calls us to Build Up. Changing the world begins at home and Paul’s challenge for those who are strong in faith means we have an important responsibility.

Rev. Matt Miller (Romans 14) Earlier, Paul called us to ‘wake up’. Now he’s inviting us to ‘grow up’. Working through conflict and disagreements in a healthy way, brings God’s blessing by revealing our blind spots.

ROMANS: Live by Faith: “Wake Up, Get Dressed”

Rev. Matt Miller (Romans 13:11-14) Depending on the day ahead, you must think a bit about what you put on: What is the weather going to be like? What meetings do I have? Etc. How often do you think about what you wear spiritually? Paul is challenging us to put on something more important than our clothes.

ROMANS: Live by Faith “One Love”

Rev. Matt Miller (Romans 13:8-10) Paul has shared a great deal with us in Romans about the role of the Law. We know it moves us to trust in Christ but now we learn that in keeping it we are demonstrating the love of God. It’s amazing!
